Author-Managed Free Items
- All free items on PortaSale are set by the authors, not by the PortaSale team.
- Authors can choose to make any of their items free and can change this status at any time.
- PortaSale does not intervene in the decision to list or remove an item as free.
License Terms
- All free items are strictly offered under the Regular License only.
- Even if the paid version of an item includes an Extended License option, the free version is limited to Regular License usage.
- Users must comply with the Regular License terms, which typically include personal or limited commercial use, without resale or redistribution.
Availability
- Free items may be available temporarily or permanently, depending on the author’s choice.
- PortaSale cannot guarantee the availability of any free item at any given time.
Use Restrictions
- Free items cannot be resold, redistributed, or uploaded elsewhere.
- Users must respect the license and not use free items in ways that violate intellectual property or platform policies.
Support and Updates
- Support for free items is optional and may not be provided by the author.
- Free items are offered "as-is" without guaranteed updates or compatibility fixes.
Promotion for Authors
- Offering free items is a great way for authors to gain exposure and build a user base.
- Free items may appear in search results, category listings, and promotional sections of PortaSale.
